Alert Engineering is NZ's premier design, manufacturing and sales company specialising in waste and recycling machinery. On your visit with Alert, let's discuss equipment maintenance. At Glucina Alloys, you will see the operations of one of the few manufacturers in NZ that uses scrap aluminium and copper; we are proud to see manufacturers represented by AMR.
And at Sims Metal, you will tour the main scrap metal operation of this multi-national corporation which includes a shredder. Sims is a long-time supporter of AMR and seeing this large-scale operation is sure to impress.

| Pre-shredding Our first workshop of the conference is by Edgar Root of Recycling Machinery. Edgar will discuss pre-shredding, a growing practice in Europe and the UK where governments are considering mandating pre-shredders for all hammer mill operators on health and safety grounds.

AMR has adopted a zero tolerance policy to alcohol-related incidents at the venue regardless of whether these occur during function hours or not. Member companies will be subject to the disciplinary process for all incidents involving their representatives. Please ensure all staff participating in the convention are aware of this policy.
Accommodation is not included in the conference registration fee. There is a special room rate of NZ$230 per night which is for one adult with breakfast included. Room rates are subject to hotel availability on a first come, first served basis.
